Bevel Seat Fittings

PNW Sanitary Bevel Seat Fittings provide a dependable, serviceable union for sanitary process lines where access and periodic disassembly are part of routine operations. A typical bevel seat union combines a threaded ferrule, a plain ferrule, and a hex union nut to form a secure joint that can be taken apart for cleaning, inspection, or reconfiguration without welding.

To ensure a hygienic seal, use bevel seat gaskets matched to the ferrule geometry. Proper gasket selection preserves seal integrity, extends gasket life, and reduces the risk of leakage or crevice formation in food, beverage, dairy, brewery, and pharmaceutical systems.

Materials & Standards: Available in 304 and 316L stainless steel and compliant with 3-A sanitary standards. Bevel seat unions are an excellent choice where system rigidity is required but frequent disassembly is necessary for maintenance or process changes. For added assurance, PNW Sanitary performs in-house positive material identification (PMI) using a SciAps X-550 XRF spectrometer to verify alloy consistency and support documentation needs.
