Gaskets
PNW Sanitary gaskets play a critical role in maintaining hygienic seals and protecting product integrity across process lines in food, beverage, dairy and pharmaceutical environments. Our catalog includes common profiles — Tri-Clamp, I-Line and John Perry — supplied in materials selected for their resistance to cleaning chemistries, temperature extremes and mechanical wear.
Gasket material choice is a primary factor in longevity and performance. We carry silicone for high-temperature and food-contact applications, EPDM for steam and certain cleaning chemistries, Buna-N for oil and hydrocarbon resistance, and PTFE for aggressive chemical compatibility. Many gasket families are produced to meet FDA and 3-A sanitary standards; product pages include material data, dimensional drawings and certification notes to help you confirm fitment and compliance.
Proper selection balances profile, material and application. Tri-Clamp gaskets are widely used for removable ferrule connections; I-Line and John Perry profiles are appropriate where specific ferrule geometries or sealing behaviors are required. Consider operating temperature, CIP/COP chemicals, abrasion potential and pressure when specifying a gasket; we provide compatibility charts and technical notes to help with selection.
