Sanitary Fittings for Brewing & Distilling

Craft breweries and distilleries need sanitary fittings that handle everything from hot wort transfer to cold-side fermentation without risking contamination. PNW Sanitary manufactures tri-clamp fittings, gaskets, valves, and tubing specifically designed for brewing operations, backed by our own 3-A License and in-house material testing.

Why Breweries Choose PNW Sanitary

Direct from Manufacturer

We produce our own fittings in certified facilities—no middleman between you and the source. This means better pricing, direct technical support, and complete accountability.

Our Own 3-A License

Unlike resellers who borrow certifications from brands they distribute, we hold our own 3-A License. You're buying from the certificate holder, not a middleman.

In-House Material Testing

Every batch undergoes PMI testing with our SciAps X-550 XRF analyzer. We verify material composition ourselves—no relying on supplier documentation.

Brewery-Focused Selection

From standard tri-clamp sizes to specialty gaskets and valves, we stock what breweries actually need for efficient operations and quick batch changeovers.

Brewing Industry FAQs

What size tri-clamp fittings do breweries typically use?

Most breweries use 1.5", 2", and 3" tri-clamp fittings for primary transfer lines and connections. Smaller sizes (0.5" to 1") are common for sample ports and instrumentation. We stock all standard sizes with same-day shipping on in-stock items.

Can I use the same fittings for hot wort and cold fermentation?

Yes. Our stainless steel fittings handle the full temperature range of brewing operations, from boiling wort (over 200°F) to cold-side fermentation (near 32°F). The key is choosing the right gasket material—EPDM for general use, silicone for higher temperatures.

How do I know if fittings are 3-A certified?

As a 3-A License holder, all our sanitary fittings are manufactured to 3-A standards. We can provide our 3-A Certificate and Material Test Reports (MTRs) upon request for documentation and compliance purposes.

Do you offer volume pricing for brewery buildouts?

Yes. We offer volume pricing for larger orders and can provide custom quotes for new brewery installations or facility expansions. Contact us with your project specifications for pricing.

What's the difference between 304 and 316L stainless steel?

Both are food-grade stainless steel. 316L offers better corrosion resistance in harsh environments (saltwater, certain chemicals). For most brewing applications, 304 stainless is perfectly suitable and more cost-effective. We stock both options.
