Short Weld Tri-Clamp Ferrule (14WMP) – 316L Stainless Steel

PNW Sanitary Short Weld Tri-Clamp Ferrules (14WMP) provide a secure, hygienic transition between welded tubing and Tri-Clamp process connections. Featuring a reduced weld end compared to long weld ferrules, these fittings are designed for applications where space is limited or minimal weld length is preferred, while still ensuring a clean and reliable orbital or manual weld.

Manufactured from 316L stainless steel and polished to a 32Ra surface finish, PNW Sanitary ferrules are 3-A Certified for hygienic performance and long-term reliability in sanitary processing environments. The 316L alloy provides superior corrosion resistance, making it especially suitable for aggressive cleaning regimens and high-purity process applications.

FEATURES

  • 3-A Sanitary Certified
  • 316L Stainless Steel construction for superior corrosion resistance

APPLICATIONS & COMPATIBILITY

PNW Sanitary Short Weld Tri-Clamp Ferrules (14WMP) are ideal for OEMs, system fabricators, and maintenance teams building or modifying sanitary process systems. Commonly used in food, beverage, dairy, brewery, cosmetic, nutraceutical, and pharmaceutical industries, these ferrules provide a permanent welded connection point that integrates seamlessly with Tri-Clamp fittings, clamps, and gaskets. They are dimensionally compatible with leading sanitary brands for easy integration into existing systems.

QUALITY & MATERIAL VERIFICATION

To ensure material integrity and traceability, all PNW Sanitary ferrules undergo in-house positive material identification (PMI) using the SciAps X-550 handheld XRF spectrometer. This non-destructive testing verifies the alloy composition of each production batch, supporting compliance, reliability, and long service life in demanding sanitary applications.
