PNW Sanitary Tight Radius Butt-Weld 90° Elbows with Tangents (L2S – Special) provide a compact, permanent right-angle transition for welded stainless process piping. Unlike standard 1.5D long-radius elbows, this tight-radius version offers a significantly reduced centerline radius for installations with limited space or equipment clearance constraints. Manufactured from 304 stainless steel and polished to a 32Ra sanitary finish on both the ID and OD, these elbows follow 3-A dimensional and material practices but are not 3-A certified because they are not laser-marked with size or alloy identifiers. Tangent ends provide additional straight-run length for improved weld accessibility, alignment, and heat control during installation. This configuration is ideal for OEM fabrication, equipment builds, and hygienic process lines where space is limited and formal 3-A marking is not required.
