2" Schedule 5 Short Radius 90° Elbow – 321 Stainless Steel
PNW Sanitary 321 stainless steel Schedule 5 short radius 90° elbows are precision-manufactured butt-weld fittings designed for nominal pipe size (NPS) stainless piping systems operating in elevated temperature environments. The short-radius geometry provides a compact 90-degree directional change, making this fitting suitable for installations where space constraints require tighter turning radii.
Constructed from 321 stainless steel and manufactured in accordance with ASTM A403/A960 material standards and ASME B16.9 dimensional requirements, this elbow is engineered for high-temperature service. The titanium-stabilized composition of 321 stainless reduces the risk of intergranular corrosion and weld decay in heat-affected zones, making it well suited for applications involving sustained high heat or repeated thermal cycling.
Schedule 5 wall thickness (approximately 0.065") provides a lightweight solution appropriate for fabrication and industrial assemblies where structural load and pressure demands are moderate. Ends are factory-beveled for secure and consistent butt-weld installation. Fittings are ink-stamped “Ace Race Parts” for manufacturing identification.

Applications & Compatibility
Commonly used in high-temperature industrial piping, exhaust systems, thermal processing lines, and fabricated stainless assemblies where tighter routing and elevated heat resistance are required. Compatible with standard NPS Schedule 5 stainless pipe and butt-weld fittings manufactured to ASME B16.9 dimensions. Not intended for sanitary clamp-style or hygienic ferrule-based systems.
Quality & Material Verification
PNW Sanitary verifies stainless steel fittings through in-house Positive Material Identification (PMI) using the SciAps X-550 handheld XRF spectrometer to confirm alloy chemistry and support material traceability.
