PNW Sanitary Bevel Seat Gaskets (40BS-T) provide a clean, non-reactive sealing surface for Bevel Seat ferrules in sanitary stainless process systems. Manufactured from White PTFE (Teflon®), these gaskets offer exceptional chemical resistance and thermal stability, making them ideal for applications involving solvents, aggressive media, or elevated temperatures. PTFE gaskets are commonly used when elastomeric materials are not suitable due to compatibility or purity requirements.

PTFE is subject to plastic flow—meaning it will continue to compress over time, especially when exposed to repeated heating and cooling cycles. As a result, clamp torque must be monitored and maintained to ensure long-term sealing integrity. Despite reduced elasticity compared to rubber-based gaskets, PTFE provides unmatched chemical resistance and an inert sealing surface for critical sanitary processes.
